About This Role
Carolina Renew is seeking a Color Consultant to join our Customer Experience team. This unique role bridges design expertise with sales support, helping homeowners navigate the sometimes overwhelming world of color selection for their painting and cabinet refinishing projects.
As a Color Consultant, you'll meet with customers in their homes to evaluate lighting, existing dΓ©cor, and personal preferences. You'll provide expert guidance on color schemes, finishes, and trends that will enhance their spaces and increase home value.
This position is ideal for someone with a background in interior design, color theory, or retail paint sales who wants to work directly with homeowners on exciting transformations. You'll see the impact of your recommendations when projects completeβthere's nothing like watching a homeowner's reaction to their newly colored space.
Our Color Consultants use digital visualization tools, physical samples, and their trained eyes to help customers make decisions they'll love for years. Training on our product lines and consultation process is provided, but we look for innate color sense and customer service orientation.
A Day in the Life
Check your calendar over morning coffeeβthree consultations today. First, a large exterior repaint where you'll assess the brick color, roof, and landscaping to create a coordinated scheme. Mid-morning, a kitchen cabinet consultation where light is tricky and the homeowner is torn between whites. You spend an hour helping her see the difference undertones make. Afternoon brings a whole-home interior for a family who just bought a fixer-upper. By 4 PM, you're home writing up recommendations and creating digital mockups for follow-up emails. Every day is different, and every happy customer validates your expertise.
