About This Role
Carolina Renew's Interior Painting division is seeking skilled technicians to join our growing team. As an Interior Painting Technician, you'll work on residential projects throughout the Charlotte area, transforming rooms and entire homes with professional-quality finishes.
This role is perfect for painters who excel at indoor work and take pride in clean, precise results. You'll handle everything from small accent walls to complete interior repaints, working alongside experienced crew leads and fellow technicians.
Our interior team is known for attention to detailβclean lines, smooth finishes, and protected surfaces. We use premium paints from Sherwin-Williams and Benjamin Moore, and invest in quality tools and equipment for every job.
Whether you're an experienced painter looking for a great company or a motivated individual ready to develop your skills, Carolina Renew offers competitive pay, growth opportunities, and a supportive team environment.
A Day in the Life
Arrive at 8 AM and meet your crew lead for the day's assignments. You're working a whole-home repaint this week, and today is the master bedroom and home office. Start by laying drop cloths, masking fixtures, and filling nail holes. Mid-morning, primer goes on new drywall patches. After lunch, you're rolling walls with the homeowner's chosen Sherwin-Williams color while another team member cuts in. By 5 PM, two rooms are complete with smooth, even coverage. Quick cleanup, load the van, and head home knowing you did quality work.
