UV-curing and advanced coating systems for durable finishes.
Operating since 2021 (with the legal entity Istok LLC formed December 20, 2023), Carolina Renew Painting & Finishes began with a simple mission: to provide homeowners in the Charlotte area with a high-quality, cost-effective alternative to full kitchen renovations. We recognized that many solid wood cabinets were being torn out simply because of outdated finishes, filling up landfills and draining bank accounts.
What started as a specialized cabinet refinishing service has grown into a full-service home improvement company, offering interior and exterior painting, custom storage solutions, and more. Despite our growth, our core values remain the same: integrity, craftsmanship, and customer satisfaction.
As we grew, we also expanded our technical standards. We continuously test modern coating systems, including UV-curing and advanced water-borne finishes, so we know exactly where each system performs best in real homes.
Stan Putilov leads a team of skilled craftsmen with one shared process: disciplined prep, controlled application, and final quality checks before handoff.
Every crew member is trained to the same standards, so the finish quality is consistent whether the project is a single kitchen or a full-home scope.
Innovation is practical for us, not hype. We evaluate coating systems, curing workflows, and prep methods in real homes before we standardize them.
Our UV-curing workflow and modern water-borne systems are used where they provide measurable gains in durability, cleanability, and project turnaround.
